During the Re:Rosas project the students of the Maria-Boodschap institute in Brussels participated in a special Rosas danst Rosas workshop taught by Rosas dancer Johanne Saunier. Filmmaker Robbrecht Desmet followed the process and translated it into a poetical documentary:

Rosas danst Rosas premiered on 6 May 1983. This is the original cast, from left to right: Fumiyo Ikeda, Michèle Anne De Mey, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Adriana Borriello.
In 1997 Thierry De Mey filmed Rosas danst Rosas in an old technical school in Leuven.
The original piece lasts 1h40′ and consists of 4 parts. In the first movement the dancers lie on the floor. In the second they are seated on a chair. In the third they stand in a line. And finally they move throughout the space.
For Re: Rosas! Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Samantha van Wissen made a simplified version of the chair section. The original choreography lasts fifteen minutes. In this film clip Anne Teresa explains how the original choreography is built up.
The performance as it was shown in 2010 at Kaaitheater with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Tale Dolven, Elizaveta Penkóva and Sue-Yeon Youn.
